There are times when I feel that a simple "thank you" isn't enough. This is one of those times.
After revealing that my grandpa was undergoing surgery this week, I was flooded with people (friends and strangers alike) offering their well wishes and prayers. A number of people e-mailed me to offer words of support for this man they didn't even know.
The night before his surgery, my family showed my grandpa the outpouring of love coming his way from the Internet, and to say he was touched is an understatement. My grandpa, who is doing extremely well, is not a talkative man, but he wanted me to say thank you to each and every one of you who wished him well.
And to those same people, I want to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for keeping him in your thoughts. He's an amazing man and I don't want him going any where any time soon.
