As much as I would love to be a "renaissance crafter" and be able to pick up a hook and crochet away, or take some clay and turn into an awesome art doll, there are just some things I'm not good at. (Crocheting and anything to do with clay are two of those very things.) I think we can add one more to the list ... needle felting.
I love the look of needle felted things. Love it. I've had this felting mat and torture-device-of-a-needle for nearly a year now. Every so often I dabble with it. Every so often I end up with something that looks like this.

What is it? It has the potential to be a cute brooch of some sort, if it were bigger. It also has the potential to be a fur ball. I'll drag out the felting supplies in a few months and see what other masterpiece I can work up.
