We've lived in our little house for a little over two months now. Slowly, but steadily, we've been adding things to complete the look of each room. No matter how many things we added to each room (or took away), things didn't feel quite right.
For some reason we hadn't hung our small collection of prints on the wall yet. Yesterday, we pulled out the hammer, level, and nails, and got to work. After we finished, we stepped back, and the living room finally felt right.
When in doubt, hang something pretty on the wall. It changes everything.
dig the rulers..great touch!

I have moved a lot and it takes time to figure out the spell of the blank wall! I agree hanging something changes the mood of the room and gets the ideas flowing! I love the rulers~

I like what Ellen said, "the spell of a blank wall". Isn't that the truth? Bravo for getting things hung. You've *made it your own*. Welcome Home.

I enjoyed your letter from the editor in Somerset Studio's so I thought I would look up your blog. Nice work, I too like the rulers.
